ECR Racing — Norfolk, England
Twenty years developing high-performance braking systems for road, track and competition. Every component engineered to a standard, not a price point.
Product Range
From OE-replacement upgrades to full big brake conversions and carbon ceramic systems, every ECR Racing component is engineered in Norfolk and track-tested before release.
Product Line 01
High-carbon iron rings mated to precision-machined 7075-T6 aluminium bells. Floating bobbin design eliminates thermal distortion and reduces unsprung weight by up to 30% over cast iron alternatives.
330mm – 440mm diameter
Drilled & slotted
Audi · BMW · Porsche · Ferrari · Lamborghini
Product Line 02
Matched caliper, disc, pad and bracket assemblies engineered for direct fitment. Available in 4, 6, 8 and 10-piston configurations for German and Italian performance vehicles.
330mm – 440mm disc
4 · 6 · 8 · 10 piston
Audi RS · BMW M · Mercedes-AMG · Lamborghini
Product Line 03
Ready-to-fit CCB disc and pad assemblies for vehicles originally specified with carbon ceramic brakes. Full-system replacements matched to OEM caliper dimensions.
340mm – 440mm
Matched pad compound included

Engineering Approach
ECR Racing components are developed from a blank sheet. Where other brands adapt generic tooling, we engineer to the specific thermal, mechanical and fitment demands of each application.
01 — Material
Our disc rings use high-carbon grey iron specification for superior fade resistance and consistent bite. The same grade used in OEM sport packages on the cars we target.
02 — Construction
The floating bobbin assembly between bell and ring allows thermal expansion without disc distortion. The result: no judder, no warping, consistent pedal feel across a full track session.
03 — Bell Material
We specify 7075-T6 rather than the more common 6061-T6. Higher tensile strength, better fatigue resistance under repeated thermal cycling — the alloy used in aerospace and motorsport, not consumer cycling products.
04 — Validation
All ECR Racing systems are tested at Snetterton and the Nürburgring before release. We log temperatures, measure wear, and check bedding behaviour under race conditions — not just road driving.
About ECR Racing
ECR Racing is the performance brand of ECR Brakes Ltd, a Norfolk-based brake engineering business founded over twenty years ago. We started as a specialist parts supplier and developed into a manufacturer — because the products we wanted to sell didn't exist at the standard we required.
Our 2-piece floating discs, big brake kits and carbon ceramic systems are designed in-house, manufactured to our specification, and tested on track before sale. Every ECR Racing product is designed, specified and tested by us — not reboxed from a catalogue. Everything under the ECR Racing name was developed by us, for the specific vehicles we support.
Based at The Old Winery Business Park, Cawston, Norfolk.
